From an energetic perspective 2012 is a truly momentous year. All around us, a combustible mixture of different energies are converging – producing individual as well as planetary stresses. However, these same energies also provide incredible opportunities for each of us.

Although the focus of my work is on creating new paradigm food and energetic systems for years I have worked in a personal consulting role with individuals, guiding them through change and opportunity.

As 2012 develops, I have decided to open up space in my coaching and guidance practice for a limited time.

My service is geared to ameliorating the natural light transition we face moment to moment, as we transform into a new being amidst a burgeoning new planetary culture.

“Robert Davis has profound experiential understanding of Kundalini and other forms of spiritual awakenings. I have known him for more than 1.5 years now and it’s been a beautiful journey under his guidance and support. His help has been instrumental to me in understanding and embracing my Kundalini transformation process. He is truly a light to me and my gratitude towards him is beyond words.”

Episode 2012-7

Listen to

In this episode of Light Transitions Radio, we discuss a topic that is very near and dear to me – Spiritual Emergence. Spiritual Emergence is the awakening of the spiritual potential within an individual that initiates the unfolding and expansion of that individual’s way of being. Our guide to these issues is Brian Farlinger.

Brian-FarlingerSpiritual emergency is a natural process of growth towards a deeper, more connected way of being. This usually occurs slowly throughout our lives. When this happens rapidly, however, or very intensely, it can seem disruptive and out of context with everyday life. The result can be a personal crisis, which is referred to as a Spiritual Emergency.

Brian Farlinger has had a series of ‘Spiritual Emergency’ experiences over the last several years and is dedicated to supporting others through this transformative process. He has funded the operation of a supportive call line and internet referral service called Spiritual Emergence Service. This has been a registered charity in Canada since 2003. He is currently working on an initiative to create a physical center and bookstore for those in emergence.

Brian is a practicing holistic therapist in the areas of acupuncture, Acutonics, Phytobiophysics and holistic counseling. He also has a background in the western medicine field, specifically dentistry. Brian is interested in many forms of art including music and photography. He resides in Vancouver, B.C. Canada.

In the interview, Brian mentions a video that we made regarding my own experience. I’ve attached it below, as I believe it provides some useful information in the context of my own process of Spiritual Emergence.

Episode 2012-5

Listen to

We intuitively understand that Breath is the Foundation. It is so much more than that, however.

Sensing is the doorway to feeling and living. Emotional roller coasters are not tools of feeling. They are the fear pathways of old energy, fear, and survival. Sensing is the experience offered to us when we are willing to let our Spirit/Soul self lead, rather than the mind of trained fear.

Imagine the transformative and energetic potential that is accessible through the conscious integration of breath into sense.

This is powerful stuff.

NormaPic2011Recently, we were honored to spend time talking about these issues and much more with Norma Delaney.

After retiring from a successful career in business, Norma Delaney began the journey on her spiritual path, receiving a Doctorate of Divinity, and developing her gift for channeling through her exploration of automatic writing.

Initially, she offered classes for small groups, which opened the doorway to her profound connection with Kuan Yen. It is this relationship with the Goddess of Compassion that helped launch her career as a professional teacher, healer and channel.

Norma was instrumental in assisting the connection with many channels, including Lee Carroll and Kryon, Geoffrey Hoppe and Tobias, as well as Steve Rother and the Light Connection.

Some have called her the Teachers’ Teacher.

Norma moved to Colorado in 2001 where she actively supports the Crimson Circle. She has chosen many experiences that nurtured the discovery of the Authentic Self. And today, she travels the world teaching others to express their Authentic Voice.

How do our food choices impact our own lives, as well as that of the planet? Is there a pathway that supports health for the individual and sustainability for the Earth?

johanna-mccloy1In this episode of Light Transitions radio, we were honored to explore these issues and much more with Johanna McCloy.

Johanna (pronounced "yo-hah-nah") McCloy is dedicated to bridging cultural gaps and empowering individuals to realize that their voices and their actions matter. With compassion and action, they can cross divides and help to generate the positive changes they seek to see in the world. Soy Happy (now Veggie Happy) was created with this in mind.

In 2000, Johanna attended a Major League Baseball game and found no viable vegetarian menu options in the entire stadium.  She realized that many fans were either bringing their own food or eating before or after the game, due to the lack of options, so she decided to do something about it. She compiled statistics on the rise in demand for vegetarian options, and presented her menu proposal to the concession manager one week later. She then began outreaching to every MLB park (none offered veggie dogs at that time), as well as baseball fans, consumer groups and supportive organizations.

Fans started to speak up, celebrities offered endorsements, media paid attention, and concession managers responded.  As of 2011, 22 MLB parks offer veggie dogs, due in large part to Johanna’s advocacy and consultation.

Using our baseball experience as a model, Veggie Happy continues to empower consumers on the importance of their feedback and to promote and celebrate vegetarian/vegan options for foodservice establishments.

Johanna’s personal essays have been published in India Currents Magazine, Moxie Magazine, Journeywoman and a book entitled Voices from the Garden (Lantern Books.) She has written countless articles regarding consumer advocacy and Veggie Happy/Soy Happy for a variety of publications, including Erik Marcus’s book, Meat Market. Johanna is also co-creator and co-editor of Dare To Be Fabulous (DTBF) , celebrating womens’ stories of daring, joy and empowerment.

Johanna studied acting with the legendary Sanford Meisner in Los Angeles. She is often noted for her Guest Starring role as Ensign Calloway in Star Trek The Next Generation and other notable credits in radio, theatre, television and film. She also has professional experience as a story analyst (for Castle Rock, Jersey Films, Bedford Falls. and Dick Clark productions, among others) and as a producer of personal tribute videos. (She continues to free-lance in these capacities.)
